Salford Supply Desk warmly welcomes the introduction of rapid testing for our staff, as we strive to make our schools as safe as possible for everyone.

All staff, along with future members of staff who register with Salford Supply Desk, will be offered the opportunity to voluntarily participate in lateral flow testing. We are registered with The Department of Health & Social Care, in order to provide the most accurate and up to date information for our staff.

Lateral Flow Testing will take place twice a week, providing either a positive, negative or void result. In return, this will assist lower transmission within schools, creating a safer working and learning environment for all involved.

We’re hoping lateral flow testing will ensure our teachers, teaching assistants, schools, children and parents that all measures and precautions are being taken, especially for supply staff who may work in more than one school or bubble.
