Keeping Children Safe in Education 2019 has been released.

In line with the DfE statutory guidelines “Keeping Children Safe in Education (2019),” we thoroughly vet all of our supply teachers to ensure suitability. Keeping Children Safe in Education is statutory guidance that schools and colleges in England must have regard to when carrying out their duties to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. All our staff are asked to ensure that they have read at least Part one of the guidance.

The safety, welfare and safeguarding of children is paramount at all times and it is our policy to ensure that all relevant pre-registration checks are carried out by staff that are trained in procedures and understand their responsibilities.
